Our Next CPD Meeting will be on Thursday 8th October 2026: The Art of Not Doing - an Interview with Tony Betts
Tony has a lifetime's experience in international business coaching and consulting. He brings a calm, reflective presence to all his work and is valued by clients and colleagues alike for his depth of thought.
Tony also has a background in elite sport and brings to his work a keen understanding of what high performance depends on. He knows what lies at the heart of personal effectiveness and has developed a range of tools and models that enable his clients to rethink their approach and become more successful and fulfilled.
Above all, Tony brings a sense of centredness and groundedness to his work. Those he has coached attest to the profound influence he has on their thinking. Tony has devoted much of his life to the pursuit of practical wisdom. He makes his learning freely available to all, with wit, modesty, and a natural, gentle courtesy.
He is the founder of two business philosophies: The Art of Not Doing and The Power of Alignment.
Our first CPD meeting in 2027 will be Wednesday 17th March: Georgina Woudstra, ACTC, MCC, has been at the forefront of the team coaching movement since the 2010s. An executive coach since the early 1990s, she recognized that lasting organizational change depends on teams, not just individual leaders. Through years of reflective practice, she saw that traditional workshops seldom spark true transformation. That happens when coaches work dynamically in the moment, tapping into a team’s energy as challenges arise. Georgina refined this emergent approach in her own practice, leading her to found Team Coaching Studio in 2017, dedicated to developing world-class team coaches. In 2022, she became one of the first globally to earn the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC). A serial entrepreneur, she understands the demands of running a thriving practice. Her updated book, Mastering the Art of Team Coaching, offers practical wisdom to grow your impact in this fast-expanding field.
On 23rd June 2027 our CPD Meeting will be facilitated by Ross McIntosh on the subject of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Coaching
Ross is an expert practitioner in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Contextual Behavioural Science, on a mission to make these evidence-based approaches accessible, practical, and even enjoyable for adults in the workplace. A key foundation of his approach is his long-standing Research/Practitioner Partnership with Dr Paul Flaxman at City, University of London, ensuring that everything he delivers is grounded in robust psychological science.
He helps leaders and professionals develop the psychological capacities that drive meaningful, sustainable performance:
Awareness – noticing what matters and what gets in the way
Adaptability – responding flexibly to pressure, uncertainty, and change
Committed Action – taking values-aligned steps, especially under stress
Well-being – building daily habits that support resilience and energy
He facilitates the development of collaboration, cooperation, and a shared purpose within teams, using behavioural science to strengthen how people work together.
His work is dedicated to cultivating awareness, adaptability, action, and well-being at individual, team, and organisational levels. His programmes, workshops, and coaching draw on contextual behavioural science and applied psychology to help people navigate “the fluctuating, conflicting forces that are readily apparent when people navigate the environment and social world.” (Kashdan & Rottenberg, 2010).
He has supported clients across the public sector, education, the arts, and global industry—including 22+ NHS Trusts.
